God, tonight I lift up the woman who is rediscovering her joy— the woman who forgot what happiness felt like because life demanded so much of her for so long.
Lord, return her joy. Not the performed kind. Not the smile-for-everyone kind. But the deep, settled, soul-level joy that doesn’t depend on circumstances.
Remind her what it feels like to laugh freely. To rest without guilt. To enjoy the simple things without thinking about what comes next.
God, reconnect her to the things that light her up. The hobbies she abandoned. The dreams she put on hold. The version of herself that used to dance, create, explore, and delight.
She is allowed to be happy. She is allowed to enjoy her life. She is allowed to choose joy even in the middle of her healing. She is becoming her. Amen.
