Come pray with me…
God, tonight I lift up the woman learning patience with herself— the woman who wants to be healed already, whole already, over it already. The woman frustrated with her own pace of growth.
Lord, remind her that healing is not linear. That two steps forward and one step back is still movement. That feeling it again doesn’t mean she’s back at the beginning— it means she’s going deeper.
Teach her to be as patient with herself as she would be with someone she loves. To speak to herself with the same grace she extends to others.
God, let her see the progress she cannot always feel. Let her celebrate the small wins she overlooks. Let her honor the distance she has traveled even when the destination still feels far.
She is growing— even when it doesn’t feel like it. She is healing— even in the hard moments. She is becoming her. Amen.
