Come pray with me…
God, tonight I lift up the woman who is grieving— grieving someone she loved, grieving a version of herself, or grieving a life she thought she would have by now.
Lord, sit with her in this. Don’t rush her through it. Validate that what she lost was real. What she felt was real. What she hoped for was real.
Comfort her in the places where grief lives— in the quiet mornings, in the empty spaces, in the moments when something small reminds her of everything that changed.
God, let her grieve fully so she can heal fully. Let her feel what she needs to feel without shame. Without a timeline. Without the pressure to be okay before she actually is.
And when she’s ready, Lord— not before— restore her. Renew her. Remind her that life holds more beauty ahead than she can see right now. She is being held in her grief. She is becoming her. Amen.
