Come pray with me…
God, tonight I lift up the mother— the woman who is pouring into her children, biological or chosen, while trying to heal herself at the same time.
Lord, honor her sacrifice. See her in the invisible labor. In the late nights and early mornings. In the love she gives even when she’s running on empty.
Remind her that she cannot pour from an empty cup. That taking care of herself is not taking away from her children— it is modeling for them what it looks like to be whole.
God, give her grace for the days she doesn’t get it right. Give her rest when she’s depleted. Give her support when she’s isolated. Give her joy that goes beyond the hard moments.
She is doing more than she knows. She is shaping lives with her love. She is a good mother— even when she doesn’t feel like it. She is becoming her. Amen.
