Come pray with me…
God, tonight I lift up the woman releasing control— the woman who learned to survive by managing everything. Who held on tightly because letting go once cost her everything. Who controls because trust has been broken before.
Lord, teach her the difference between wisdom and hypercontrol. Between preparation and fear-based managing. Between discernment and the belief that if she doesn’t hold everything together, it will all fall apart.
Show her that surrender is not weakness— it is the most powerful act of faith. That releasing what she cannot control opens her hands to receive what You have already prepared.
God, let her exhale tonight. Let her trust that You have this. That she does not have to carry what You have already promised to carry for her.
She is releasing control. She is trusting. She is becoming her. Amen.
